Collector's Ball and Vase by Magic Makers
(description excerpt courtesy of Martin's Magic Collection - with permission)

The Ball Vase was first described over 250 years ago in Dean's The Whole Art of Legerdemain (1763). The Ball Vase is probably one of the most common effects in every Children's Magic Set and for this reason it quickly gets ignored because we've all seen them before.

The Ball & Vase effect was among the "first five" purchases of magic, that I made. Granted, the early version I'm referring to was constructed of a red colored, plastic vase and a white plastic ball, however, the workings remain the same.

This is a very special edition of one of the most classic magic tricks in history. The Collector's Ball & Vase has been precision machined from brass and steel for a luxury look and feel you won't find with lesser plastic props. This apparatus can be handed down for generations and wouldn't appear out of place on any executive desk or curio cabinet display.

Effect: I am very pleased with mine and consider it a flawless collector's piece.

Your Assistance Requested

While it's true that I have constructed many of the effects displayed on this site, it's also true that I am not the creator/originator of how they function. As such, I have researched, to the best of my ability, to give credit where it's due. On some, I am at a total loss as to who the creator is, so I simply left that portion of the description, blank.

If any visitor to my site here, knows or suspects they may know the creator, please use the button below to contact me, if you will and steer me in the right direction. I'll be happy to add you to that credit, for your assistance, provided you approve of my doing so.
