Blades Thru Arm

There have been two or three examples of this popular one-person illusion going around. I know Mak-Magic has one called "Disarmed." There is also a cherry red model I've seen a few times but I'm not sure who made it. And of course, there is this version, "Blades Thru Arm" from Daytona Magic. Regardless of who the builder/distributor is, the workings remain the same and it's quite a convincing effect, provided the performer remembers "the golden rule" of magic; "it's all in the presentation."

Effect: With the blades laying on the table place your arm through the device. Remove your arm and replace it again. Place the blades into the device, and now you can open the box. Don't forget to wiggle your fingers! All that remains to do is close and latch the box. Remove the blades and show that your arm is restored.
